John, I am assuming that the time frame would coincide with that of the 1st North Carolina's service with Colston.

If so, then it would be of short duration.

3/23/63 Fredericksburg, Lee to Cooper-wants Gen Colston

3/24/63 Richmond to Longstreet, Petersburg: Colston will proceed without delay to Fredericksburg & report to Gen Lee.
Colston was assigned to command the Third Brigade of Jackson's old division. Then, just prior to Chancellorsville, he was placed over the entire division. After a poor performance he was relieved 5/20
