The volume on the 4th NC Cavalry is slim, and I don't care for the volume on the 28th NCT, but a lot of the H.E. Howard volumes are also very slim. It is great that someone took time to dig into those Virginia regiments; I just wish they had dug a little deeper. The new volume on the 21st NCT by the late Lee Sherrill is very detailed. I like to think my own volumes on the 37th NCT and 58th NCT are also detail heavy (or rich).
