Snead for the war, admitted Chimborazo Hospital, Richmond, Va. May 31, 1862, flesh wound of shoulder received at Seven Pines, furloughed for 30 days June 5, received hand wound at Gettysburg, Pa., July 1, 1863, admitted Receiving and Wayside Hospital, Richmond, Va. July 17, 1863, transferred next day to Chimborazo Hospital,, transferred to Winder Hospital August 16, wounded at Winchester, Va. September, 19, 1864, surrendered and paroled at Appomattox Court House, April 9, 1865, resident of Johnston County
