Orderly Sergeant J.B. Hill, 3 North Carolina

Orderly Sergeant Hill Road wrote the regimental sketch for his regiment, the third North Carolina cavalry.

It appears in volume two of Walter Clarks multivolume series, North Carolina troops, 1861-65

On page 786 he gives an account of a skirmish in which he was wounded. He says the skirmish occurred near yellow tavern on June 27, 1864

Could you please tell me what the Service record says about the date hill was wounded?

Bryce
