Are you sure that he was sent to Hagerstown? Typically the wounded at Gettysburg who were sent to the "Seminary" hospital would have meant the Lutheran Theological Seminary west of town. There were many recorded wounded sent here (173 as of July 6), among them Confederate Maj Gen Isaac Trimble. What unit was your ancestor in? Tom
