They uncovered over a thousand graves of Confederate soldiers about a year or so ago at Bristoe Station. They are planning to make it a park and preserve the gravesites as well.

The confederate regiments were mistaken thinking that it was just the Union rear guard they were encountering vs an entire corp. The Union reenforcements poured in and took cover behind a railroad embankment and decimated the confederates. However, alot of the graves were from the hospital located close by vs. the battle.
