Henry Maury was reported to have been born in North Carolina abt 1829. Henry went to sea early and ended up in Mobile, Al. He served at Fort Morgan with artillery and later caught two bullets, one in Tenn and one at Jackson, MS. He ended his career as Colonel of the 15th Confederate Cav along the Gulf Coast. I have located his grave and will order a marker but need his date of Birth. Henry (Harry) was a cousin to Dabney H. Maury. I appreciate any help. I have done a book on the 15th Con.
