The Old Kings Mountain Military Academy in Yrok is now occupied by the Episcopal Children's Home, and is still active. John Shiflett is (or until very recently, still was) the director of the home. Do not have an E-Mail or mail addressw, but try telephone information. Col. Asbury Coward, and BGEN Micah Jenkins wsere associated with the old Military Academy, which was operated by Coward for some time after the war.
