Alan, Jim knows that I read the "Fender Discussion Page", a message board for Fender built guitar players. They have a board set aside for off-topic post (you have to donate to post there). Anyway, the other day I was reading where a man from here in Louisiana brought up the subject that he had to teach his son that the "good guys" won the war and that being from the south he needed to learn his people were the "bad guys".

I wanted to gag. But, that is the goal of our schools these days, whether they admit it or not. Even on this board some defend each and every action of Lincoln and his govt. as though they were the Holy Legions of heaven itself.

Sorry for the rant. But the dumbing down of America's youth is succeeding perfectly.
