Harriet Tubman

Harriet Tubman is credited with the following quote...

"I freed thousands of slaves; I could have freed more if they knew they were slaves."

Now to me that sounds like she had problems getting slaves to runaway with her. Another thing she said was once on the trail North she threatened to (shoot) kill any slave that decided that they didn't want to be free and go back. And she bragged that no slave none took her up on her threat.

Does anyone know if this quote is correct?
