I am posting this here for my friends who still lurk and post on this board. For those of you who are new I would like to tell you that my 2nd great-grandfather was named Richard Chaddick and that he is carried on the Confederate Roll of honor by the SCV due to his being named to recieve the Confederate Medal of Honor.

There are a lot of his descendents still living in this area but nobody seems to have had a picture of him. I tried for many years to locate one. About 3 or 4 weeks ago a long lost cousin who lives in Port Authur, Texas, not far from our beloved leader Jim Martin, signed our guestbook and told me had this picture. His name is Danny Chadrick (most of the family now spell their name with an R) and I want to thank him for allowing me use of the picture. The actual photo is of Richard Chaddick, his wife Sarah Jane Johns and her brother Thomas Johns. I extracted grandpa Richard's image and framed it myself. This has made my year and I just had to share it with my friends.
