I know what that picture means to you only because I think I found one of my g-grandfather, it was behind a picture of his wife, my g-grandmother, I am not one hundred percent sure it is him, but feel like it is him anyway, it was given to me by a cousin who didn't know the picture was even behind the one of our g-grandmother, I found it by accident while making the frame more secure. He was born in 1805, and I had been searching for a picture of him for a long time, so I believe he finally gave me one himself. He served in the Civil War, but in the Home Guard, as he was about 55 at the time, I got this information from his pension record that I ordered. I think we all have one ancestor that we wish we could have known, and this g-grandfather would be that one for me.
