I belive you actually know what I mean. I never said anything about small city states. As you and I have agreed on, the government has not really done anything for us, but in reality has done more for non-citizens entering the country. And yes if you want to use aboration as an example, let those who disagree with it live in peace without government control.

I believe there is something to be said about united for the common defense, isn't there. I believe that goes back to the days of the first colonies.

Point being made, if the governemnt is not gonna help us, what do we need them for?

What would be wrong with Mississippi or Vermont having self government?
