"he was accused of having sent large stores of government arms to Southern arsenals in anticipation of the Civil War"
When?
By Whom?
Where is the indictment?
What arms?
How many arms?
Where did he send the arms?
What laws were broken?
Where not Southern Arsenals apart of the United States in up until December 1860?
Did he send arms to Northern Arsenals?
Why is he singled out? Why not the other functions of government that continued on with like trade and commerce, transportation, food, clothing, chemicals, raw materials, etc. etc. etc. that would be needed in 'anticipation of the Civil War"?
Now we have gone full circle how does this relate to Anderson's orders? How does this justify Anderson disobeying his orders? How does this justify Anderson assuming authority he did not have on December 26th 1860?
