Thanks Chase...I am a proud Navy veteran of both WWII and the Korean War. Saw no action in WWII was in training, but based upon the time I voluntered for the Navy I am an official WWII Veteran.
Have the Korean Service Ribbon with two battle stars. Also am honored with a Letter of Commendation from the Chief of Naval Operations for special service performed while serving on a mine sweeping task force.
WWII Vets are dying at an accelarated rate due to age.
We can thank our military personnel for our freedom of speech...this thanks applies to services in all wars back to and including the American Revolution.
Their service is why we can disagree on historical and political events and still have the freedom to express our thoughts on the events which proceed every war.
God Bless the United States of America. Remeber Pearl Harbor.
