Re: WBTS Radio@nite - today 9 PM EST -

Howdy, David !

You have to get SkypeOut, and fill that up with some credit ( for calls outside Skype). I think the standard credit refill are $10 - this last for 10 hr of calls. A standard rate are about 2 cents a minute - even if you call me in Norway, one in China or your nextdoor neighbor. Calls to other Skype-users are free.

When that is done, and a show are on - you just go to my page and click the big purple button that are on the page. To see what it looks like, you go to Talkshoe.com and click the "Live"-button on the frontpage. Click then on the picture or link on one of the shows that are live - on their pages you`ll see the button I write about.

After you click this - your Talkshoe Live !-client will start. You`ll first get a dialog-box on your computer that asks you if you want to start the client - click "start" or "yes". While this goes on - the Talkshoe.com website will show a page with information. On top of this, the client will show up, but it will be greyed out, and in the middel there it will be information like a phonenumber and an ID for the show.

Next step will be to start up Skype, dial the number (724) 444-7444. A lady will ask you to enter the ID -> 4693 with the " * " . When this is done, you`ll have to enter your PIN that you made when you registered - enter this with the " * ". When this is done she will say "You are now entering the show".

Your Talkshoe Live !- client will now appear in full. Use the "Quick links" in the middel of the clinet to get the inns and outs of the GUI. You`ll see yourself in the list of participants.

But,David - even that you now are online with a telephone connection to the show, you are not "on the air". The reason for that is that I have to unmute the participants who wants to get "on the air". You have to then notify me by clicking the "Request to talk" - button up in the right section of the client. When you have done this - a headphone with a notch-button will appear beside your name. I will then know that you you want to talk, and can unmute you.

The reason for this is that the host have to control the show, so the only one that can umute someone are the host. Everyone can mute them self of course, and of course the host too.

While in there, one can chat with text - but, one odd thing are this is done sideways and not downwards as is the normal way.

I hope I have given you a good explanation of how things work.
