Welcome back Matt. There is nothing dishonorable about following what one believes is right for them. There is no dishonor in wearing a uniform. There have been dishonorable things done by those in the uniform of every nation. My Grandfather, Father and Husband have worn United States military uniforms and proudly. We all support the men and women who serve today. Most of us do understand that there were two points of view in all areas of the country during the recent unpleasantness.
