Such sentiments are posted quite often on this message board. I suspect it's really little more than role-playing, because I doubt that any of them have missed any meals because of the "depredations of the Yankee horde"

The name of the town I live in, the money I spend, the fish I catch, railroad guages, steel ships, submarines, military tactics, history that is taught to my grandkids and having to defend our Confederate heritage, how our cemeteries are treated (I own 2), medical practices. I can think of many ways our lives have been touched by the WBTS, it is a pity you cannot.
