Well, sir, as I understand your original post, you said that when you got better you were going to post a thesis to explain how you've been personally affected by the Civil War, then you listed some topics you were going to discuss in detail.

You really don't expect me to comment on a thesis you haven't posted yet, do you? How do I know whether or not I'm going to agree or disagree with you, therefore how can I comment?

I look forward to reading your thesis on how the Civil War has directly affected speed laws, hurricane recovery, cigarette taxes and the like. I wonder if your thesis will include other, more proximate causes, such as the unprecedented growth in the scope and power of government as a result of the Great Depression and the Second World War, or the impact of the Baby Boom generation with its sense of entitlement and government as nanny.
