Well I didn't mind because it gave me more insight to what his ruling was all about,and what it is based on, a descision by the reconstruction government.

Still I have yet to find any indication the that secession was illegal in 1860 and that the Confederate States of America was not a legally formed country.

I have yet to find the truth as to why Mr. Chase gave the defense team of jefferson Davis the tools to use to keep him from being tried as a traitor and why. Perhaps our northern friends will share that with us. I am sure Mr. Chase was a good hearted man but would he do that for Jefferson Davis? HUMMMMM!!!
