The suggestions you posted concerning debates on this and any other message board are well thought out recommendations that all posters would do well to follow.

Personally, I still have a problem in ignoring replies to a post that atempts to divert attention away from the issues being discussed or debated because they do not have documented expertise to make a valid counterpoint.

My rebel nature causes me to be overly defensive when a post beligns my Southern Confederate Heritage. I tend to return fire without giving my temper time to subside.
