Re: Desecration of Catholic Graves...

It has long been the story here in Pensacola that the Union used St Michael's Cemetery (Our oldest in Pensacola) as a camp and some of the iron that was used at graves was used to make horseshoes and bullets. My 5xGreatGrandfather had an iron cross marking his grave that disappeared about the time the Union occupied it. They also used historic Christ Church as a stable.
