I could swear I just read something about it in the Shelby Foote book I'm reading now. I've looked back but cannot find it. Don't know if it was in the part on Island NO.10 or somewhere else on the Mississippi. I have heard of it before. Thought it was something like phosphorus and lime with an oily base. Ugly stuff.
