I don't care anything about civil rights activist. My family practically invented it. Quakers were probably, no not probably, they were the first to promote the idea of treating blacks equal to whites and trying to get those laws enacted. They also believed in non-violence. Well none of that did me any good when I was in a predominately black high school and four or five of them wanted to play beat the white boy.
All the loving each other and non-violence are great ideas. The thing is other folks don't think that way and this is no ideal world. They wanted to send me to get some diversity training last year at work, but I had to past. I know all about their multicultural world. Not a pleasant place for some.
