I must say my favorite guys in the field are Corpsmen. I owe my life to one, HM3 Dillard. All Navy Corpsmen I knew were first rate. With the exception of one. But the Chief at BAS got rid of him very quickly! Seemed to have something to do with him alienating the Grunts and the fact that the Grunts had weapons which they were prone to use without regard to safety of life and limb! Not a safe environment!All in all, Navy Corpsmen are top notch and have the respect of every Grunt who has toted a rifle in combat.
