No it wasn't SVEN LOL however he did have a Scandinavian surname which out of consideration for the man I will not divulge. I will say this about him. When I was a young 18 year old Infantryman with no education other than a high school diploma, and was ignorant of medicine, I like other grunts, trusted our corpsmen. In the Asian environment one's digestive system was always in a sorry state. One day I asked this corpsman for something to relieve a headache. The heat and the stress of the situation had gotten to me at the time.When I asked this "Corpsman" for something he gave a couple of small tablets and said it would help. A couple of hours later my "digestive problem" increased tenfold and I was in dire straits. When I told the corpsman he laughed and said as a joke he had given me a laxative! And this to a guy who already had the "Asian Two Step". It took great restraint not to use Mr. John Browning's greatest creation on this guy. Instead I reported him to his chief who got him out of the outfit before something happended to the guy! I will give him this much credit. It took a huge set of cojones to mess with an armed Marine who was already at odds with the world and his surroundings!
