I just finished "Patriotic Fire: Andrew Jackson and Jean Laffite at the Battle of New Orleans" by Winston Groom a very enjoyable book written by a native Mobilian, now living in Point Clear.

This new book will give me something to read on the flight home. So your right, is wasn't a total loss.
