The older posters on this board know my son Jake to be very much in love with the sport of baseball. He won't be playing All-Stars this year though. Instead, he has decided to spend his summer participating in a program out of Paragould, Arkansas, called M.A.P. (MIssionaries to America).

I could not be happier. I just wonder what his 2nd Great-grandpa John Roberts would think. He spent about a year and a half as a P.O.W. over two stints. First at Camp Douglas, the second visit was spent at Rock Island, both in Illinois. As fate would have it this "Missionaries to America" trip will see the group spending time in Illinois. God sure moves in mysterious ways, doesn't he?
