High, gang: I just revisited this thread, and thought of something which may have some connection. Atop Fort Mountain east of Chatsworth, Ga., is a stone wall some 850 feet long. Various theories date it from 500 to 1500 A.D. The Cherokee oral traditions claim the area was sttled by what they called "moon eyed" people. This is supposed to indicate these strangers might have been white. Legends have them descended from castaways left by Francis Drake, to descendants of Welshmen who landed at Mobile Bay in from 1100 to 1400 A.D., to a lost tribe of Israel. Check the site. Stan
