From time to time I have wondered which side I would have chosen back then, but would probably have did what they did, for much the same reasons.

Myself I would hope to have sided with the USA, as did Martin's family. Circumstances however may have dictated otherwise, who knows? One thing, I believe most people's ancestors fought for a cause they felt just. Which is why when I see traitor on a civil war board, I know it's always used wrong and is almost always spelled wrong (traiter). People use that word a little too frequently on both sides, don't you think Mr. Boring?
