folks, i had a chance to pick up a copy of terry schribers book on the 27th la infantry today at camp moore. i must say i was very impressed. if anyone on this board has an ancestor in the 27th la, they need this book. he has included, along with the history of the 27th, information on all the men in the 27th. this book is a must for every library.

on a sadder note, i also learned that wayne cosby,the president of the camp moore historical association , has been in the hospital for the last week and a half. for some serious health problems. please keep him in your prayers. wayne is totally devoted to keeping camp moore open. i have never met a harder working man than wayne.
