Those ancestors of yours from East Tennessee were probably more Pro-Union than those from Indiana!..LOL..I live in East Tennessee at present, Johnson County to be specific, and I believe the only regular Confederate Army unit raised here was Co. A, 6th North Carolina Cavalry! Most people I have spoken with here had Union ancestors. As I have no Union ancestors, my friends and I have to honor the Boys in Blue by reenacting the 1st Tennessee Light Artillery, USA and the 5th Kentucky Light Artillery, USA. As Ulysses S. Grant wrote, "Who will tell the story, now the boys in blue are gone?"
