Re: Defending Ken Burns

I have a lot of respect for Mahlon, he posts on the Indian Territory board alot and contributes quite alot of valuable information.

I have a lot of respect for Joe, what he said was aimed at the system and the one way of teaching that has been taught over the years.

Mahlon, you know as well as we do, you don't have a choice of the curriculum you teach, it was written for you by those who Joe chose to insult. I know he did not intend for you, or Chase to be the target of his statement.

I think if a teacher took off on his own course and taught the truth about the "Civil War", he would be fired before the term was out. Correct me if I'm wrong Mahlon.
