Mahlon and others, go to he Arkansas board and Read Bryan Howertons posting on Cockes Regiment, the 3rd Arkansas and the 15th Arkansas. It provides enlightenment to those who are searching and confusion to others as to how the Regiments were numbered. But it is good reading, I believe Bryan could write a best seller book if he wanted.
