You are right, most of us are from the South, but in my limited experience, a very tolerant and knowledgeable bunch.
I see that the 90th Ill was at Chattanooga and the March to the Sea. My ancestors with the AL 28th Inf were at Chattanooga and Chickamauga. Another Wilson left the 28th and joined the AL 1st Cav USA and was with SHerman. His diary is posted at:http://home.houston.rr.com/heartofdixie/1stCav.html
