You are correct. By the 9th only Longstreets Corp was in any condition to fight. Many of the remained men with the ANV were stragglers from the battles around Richmond and Sailor's Creek who had lost most of their weapons.

The Palmetto South Carolina Sharpshooters regiment of that Corp was the largest regiment to surrender with General Lee. It only had about 350 men and officers in the regiment at that time.
