Bryan, I know a little about this, only from reading Colleen McCullough's books about ancient Rome. Though historical fiction, many of the events and background are true. I found Julius Caesar fascinating. Have you read the books? Was Caesar really "da man" or has legend overblown his reputation like a lot of western gunfighters? A interresting period of time, but not one I would have cared to live through.
