In about 380 A.D. my ancestor sailed down the North Sea and attacked and became the Ruler of Saxony Germany, his son's trying to live up to Dad's legacy sailed across the English channel and conquered Wessex, England. Thus started the Saxon Occupation pushing the Romans out of England. Not to mention ending the Roman occupation. But they left descendants because some how I have two Emperors of the Holy Roman Empire in my tree too,,,,
