Yes, my friend Martin Carmack has told me of this taking place. It lead to a riot in a town in North Carolina. A mob invavaded a Reb officer's house while it was going on. Later his unit would retaliate by killing a number of (guilty and innocent) citizens. I am not sure of the unit number as I can't find Martin's e-mail. Perhaps he would tell more about it but I have noticed that he hasn't posted of late.
