African-Americans have been the only group that have had difficulties in retrace their actual roots.

Normally a slave did take their owners lastnames, and have done so for 100s of years. For African - Americans this have led to difficulties who they actually are and from where their origin belonged.

Now, a firm have created a database of DNA from tribes and 30 african countries to identify their origin. Simply by using a cotton stick with some liquids from the mouth they now can give an African-American country and even tribe they belonged.

Many have done so, and they beleive millions more will do so. This has also led to increased tourism to Africa from the USA.
