I don't believe you'll get any sympathy from George Purvis regarding "only Unionists seem to get called on it." I'm sure George will tell you, as well as many others here, that I at least, am an equal opportunity chastiser. I think most of the Southrons on this site think I'm a damn bluebelly, which is partially true by DNA. And, most of the Yanks think I'm a damn grayback, which I am also by DNA and culture.

My Yankee ancestors were Indiana, Eastern Kentucky, Missouri and East Tennessee Unionists. My Reb ancestry is Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri and Indian Territory. If you want to trade stories about mistreatment and atrocities on both sides, I'll be happy to share stories with you.
