I think the lesson of the movie is that museums can in fact come alive, with a little imagination. That's something kids have plenty of.

David, I don't want to create any spoilers for Pam until she sees it but I have to say I thought the idea of having Manifest Destiny and the Imperialist ideals of the Roman Empire clash by making "war" on each other's exhibit to be very thought provoking. The movie is deeper that what it appears at first glance.
