You`ll get to hear Forrest story from when his family started their journy from the Carolinas to Bedford County,TN,and Nathans years from 1821 - 1861 in Bedford County (TN),Tippah County (MS),and cities of Hernando(TN) and Memphis,(TN).

The second part today are the full story of his first year of war - 1861.Here you amoung other things get the recruitment of his battalion, first casulty,first skirmish and first battle.

During this time only Civil War music will be played.
