Re: Christianity and white supremacy???

I suspect the answers you're seeking are so far off-topic to the WBTS that I'd best not even try - not that I would be equal to the task, dear friend. Suffice it to say that it is almost impossible to generalize about any given denomination in the U.S., much less about Christianity in general here. Whole BBs (or email message groups) are dedicated to such discussions and I've rarely seen agreement among all members of any given denomination there, either. It's all at least as controversial as the WBTS. lol (probably the understatement of the century)

That's all I was really trying to say to you: There are "degrees" of even biblical literalism. I've seen them! lol And there are surely devoted practicing Christians in this country who will quote the Bible to you, but aren't biblical literalists in any sense. Like I said, it's almost impossible to "generalize". I've found it a great deal more expedient to ask the individual what their own particular interpretations and beliefs are on any given issue/subject. Their answers are often surprising. I know this isn't the comfort you were seeking, but it is the truth as I see it about "religion in the U.S.A."

Best regards as always,
Penny
