Everyone,

Due to the number of time consuming projects I have going, and the limited time I have to work on these projects, I will be leaving this board for awhile. I find myself in the position of not having time to devote to reading and research of questions and discussions posted on this board, therefore I unable to give accurate and complete responses.

One bit of news and an ongoing project I would like to share with everyone, is the Pittman DNA project. I have just received news that the Pittman DNA project confirms my Pittman line back to 1614 in Monmouthshire, England. I now have more than a few people related to, or think they are related to, this line contacting me for my family research notes. To put this on topic, my grandfather Richard B. Pittman was KIA in the battle of Chickamauga Creek, he served with the 7th Miss. Inf. Regt.
