No I'm at Charles Sullivan Air National Guard Base, Thompson Field, Jackson, MS. In all my years, I've deployed only one time to an active duty base. That was Hickam at Honolulu. With that said, out of 1100 personnel assisgned to the 172nd about 700 are on active duty orders. So we pretty much run like an active duty base. As I've said before, It ain't your daddy's National Guard anymore. It's 24/7 high ops tempo. We don't turn off the lights and lock the armory until next months drill.
