That you do Brother George. My great grandpa Alex who was in the 90th Illinois never invaded Europe, but I have some pretty good suspisions that while in and after his service was a Fenian. I know for a fact that the 90th raised and donated to the Fenian cause some $850. Also Company F (his company) took up an additional collection and raised another $70. I figure that amounted to about 70 cents per man. I have often wondered if Grand Ma knew that Grandpa was carrying that much money on his person. :)
