Until you can embrace your past, What future can you have?

A part of all Post Tramatic Stress Disorder treatment is the embracing of yourself that you did nothing wrong. The same came be applied to history.

Most of our problem with study and discussion of Civil War History is dealing with the real hate that is still current over the issues of, "was the South, or North, right or wrong?" "Was slavery Right, Legal, or Wrong?" "Lincoln!!!!"

This usually is found in the form of "My family was hurt during that war" attitude, or "my family were slaves" or finally "Ha, ha, We beat you." And each of us still "fight" to justify one of these attitudes.

We all still harboring a lot of hate and rage.
