Civil War Complete Photographic History by Civil War Times, Davis and Wiley, 2000. Is now on sale at several of the popular book stores at the bargin area. I picked up this book (very large) thinking I would maybe add to my collection. After I got it home, I noticed something very familiar. I have this collection already. What I have is the six volume Images of War 1861-1865 published by the National Historical Society back in the early eighties. The Civil War Complete Photographic History by Civil War is the same collection in the same order and chapters except the photographs (over 4000) are about 1/5th the size of the original books. If you don't have the original six volume set this book would be a great substitute for a great price.
