It is one of those stories that has been written. That indeed is wonderful information although sad. There are so many that are unknown and forgotten because no one thought to pass it on. The Alabama connections sound so much like my Alabama connections and I'm sure others also. Thanks for sharing that Jim. My Georgia Grandfather was still bad mouthing Sherman til he died in 1982 at 92 years of age. He learned it from his Daddy, the Baptist Preacher. ;)
